Living for your Glory.

Today I went to a worship conference at Rock Harbor called "worship central." It was created and hosted by Tim Hughes and Al Gordon from New Song church in London. It was incredible. Not only were the teachings and workshops great, but the worship was awe-inspiring. For the last set, Tim and Al led together and they had the entire room tuned in to hear from God. Can I just say that the English know what it means to worship. One of the last songs they did was a new song of Tim's called "Living for Your Glory." It is off of his new album "Hold Nothing Back." It was one of ther greatest times of worship that I have had in a long time. I was able to learn so much about what it means to worship and what it means to lead worship. I could go all day telling you about the things I learned, but I wont. If you want to know then please ask and I will tell, but the real purpose of this blog was to post the song's lyrics. If you dont have the CD and want it, I can get it to you. It is a beautiful song that holds so much sincerity and truth.

LIVING FOR YOUR GLORY

What good is it to gain the whole world
But lose your soul?
What good is it to make a sweet sound
But remain proud?

In view of God’s mercy
I offer my all

Take my life let it be everything, all of me
Here I am use me for your glory
In everything I say and do, let me life honour you
Here I am living for your glory

The road I’m on it leads nowhere
without you
And the life I live it finds meaning,
in surrender

In view of God’s mercy
I offer my all

Seeking first the Kingdom
Seeking first the Kingdom of my Lord
Seeking first the Kingdom
Seeking first the Kingdom of my Lord
